This is more of an inspirational post about Kitchen renovations that I’ve found around the web~ linking with love of course.

Our current kitchen renovation is stalling at the moment with holidays and hubby having to work away most of December and January.

So this post is to help me keep my spirits up :: we will get there, reminding myself ‘rome wasn’t built in a day’.

Kitchen Renovation Colour Palette’s

Natural Materials within the Kitchen

Natural materials, raw timbers + marble will always look great. Normally I would probably only stick to 1 type of timber through out, but below’s kitchen design works so well with 4 types of timber from the wall oven cabinetry, the flooring, the ceiling and the styled bread board. The marble and whiteness in this kitchen is the perfect base canvas to hold these timbers nicely.

Muted greys & white tones kitchen renovations

Grey and white will always work well together. If need be you can add oak timber feature piece as in this picture the dining table or you could incorporate black feature tones.

Adding Texture to your Kitchen renovation

This kitchen works so well, even though there are a few materials going on. The texture from the marble, timber and white panelling all work so well and create a real natural depth to the design. I also love these kitchen stools and on the hunt for something similar ~ post in the comments if you have found any like these please.

Contemporary + Minimal kitchen renovations

I adore how simple this kitchen looks, it’s perfect for a small apartment, very clean and minimal. What works is the striking use of black rangehood + shelf against the white kitchen cabinets and tiles, with a touch of gold on the tapware.

All white kitchen renovations

All white kitchens to me do look gorgeous ( I’ll just forget for a moment how hard they must be to clean with 2 boys). What also works beautifully with this kitchen design is the windows to the outside forest, that greenery is what is needed to lift this design and embrace the outdoors without feeling to minimal and stark.
